Daydreams and dalliances
Chilling warmth
Distracting
Mind boggling
Only an unfinished feat
No fait accompli
Selfish unfulfilled expectations
Pulled in, flung around
Hopeful hopelessness
Cat-and-mouse
Ridiculousness, naivete
Lack of copy
Fuzzy communication
Misled astray by
Romantic ideations
Looking into the eyes
Of yearning affection
Glimpsing warm smile
Laughter for a gripping second
Words soaring, wonderfully vitalizing
Moments of desire
Grasping the alleged unattainable
Like waking from a dream
It slips away
Reality sets in
Impossibilities disintegrate with the
Possibilities already pending from time and space
Realization taking over-whelming
Like an abrupt accusation, judgement
Wrought to one’s character
A sense of lack of power and vision
Just a desire, a fruitless pursuit
The fait accompli of life
Wonderments and flashbacks everyday
Looking beyond
The expectations and feelings
Yearnings occur for a moment
Walking away
Brings one rather to full potential
Despite the suffering involved
Yet surprisingly inspiration and joy too
A sense of accomplishment
Wisdom gained to bear the pain
To hope for more
To see more
And gain more than anyone’s
Ideals, judgments, insincere smile or laughter
Could ever offer
Self-reliance
