Future Wonderments

Do not just want to say
I want to do
Get out of here
Rise above the darkness
See through the negativity
No, I will not stop here
Life is just too short
To let one obstacle
One wrong doing
One flaw
Wrong place, wrong time
I will not let it hold me back
Only fuels me to be better
To know the in-s and out-s of this world
I will be a Captain
And navigate this world
Like the back of my mind
Failure is only a beginning
A new avenue
I am not perfect
Perfection is a positive illusion
Unreachable
Hence I learn to accept myself
This life
Everything that it has to offer
All that it teaches
That none may ever see or understand
That none may ever surpass
Or take advantage of
 I know despite my hardship
That which cannot kill me only makes me stronger
Good things come to those who wait, prepare, and keep hoping
Guilt, shame, regret only reflect the process of change
The change that is seizing through me
Giving me the strength to once again
Rise from the ashes
Only stronger and better
More compassionate
Because this too shall pass
I shall become the person I strive to be
Seek after that which motivates me
Never lose sight
Or I shall truly then lose myself
