All I Need

Oh, despair
Oh, the hello(s) and good-bye(s)
A part of this ever moving, changing
Circumstantial life
Yet I know who I am
I find security and power in this
Knowing who I am
Whether past, present, or future
Yet the inevitable never-ending process
Of better knowing myself
Excites and enlightens
Knowledge and inspiration fuels my passions
My curiosities
Somehow despite all the pain and misery combined
My blasé flowing self
Gains strength and endurance from it all
I can’t give up
I can’t give into
The darkness
Because happiness is not my only goal
My only drive
Because I know life is multi-faceted
With infinite number of patterns
Chemical reactions
The possibilities great and interconnected
Many ambitions
Plentiful experiences
Hence I believe in myself
Or let myself be
Because it is easier to be than to not be
Life has so much to offer, teach, and show me
With the many amazing individuals and minds
I collide and explode into along the way
Creations beautiful
Or even beautiful disasters
At the end of a good or bad day
I can’t wait to see what’s next
And I simply hope for tomorrow
